Job Summary
Conduct screenings and evaluations for students with speech, language, and related disorders, then interpret findings for parents and teachers. Develop educationally relevant treatment plans and provide direct instruction using various service delivery models. Monitor student progress, adjust plans to meet goals, and maintain documentation of service records. Train and supervise specialized support personnel, clinical fellows, and graduate students as assigned. Serve as a resource for school problem-solving teams and collaborate with staff to support communication development.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology
- Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12
- A Florida Department of Health Provisional License
- Up to 10 pounds lifting
- Other requirements: This position may require traveling to various school sites, work locations, and/or community organizations throughout the district
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
