Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist conducts screenings/evaluations and develops educationally relevant therapy plans for students with speech-language and related disorders across grade levels, in alignment with district/state policies. Responsibilities include reporting findings to parents/teachers, implementing service delivery models, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, supervising personnel (including clinical fellows/graduate students as assigned), collaborating with teachers and teams to support communication goals, and engaging in ongoing professional learning to maintain licensure/certification. May travel to various school sites; FCC/PHysical demands and confidentiality requirements apply. Requires Florida licensure or educator certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12; ASHA CCC preferred; provisional license accepted for clinical fellows.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology or Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Provisional License accepted for clinical fellows
