Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct screenings and evaluations for students across grade levels, develop educationally relevant therapy and treatment plans aligned with IEP processes, provide direct services using multiple delivery models, monitor progress, maintain progress data with confidentiality, supervise specialized personnel (including possible clinical fellows/graduate students), and collaborate with teachers and school teams to support communication goals and educational achievement. The role requires independent practice within professional scope, licensure or educator certification in Florida, adherence to district/state/federal policies, and willingness to travel to various school sites as needed. Licensure/credentia ls and ongoing professional learning are emphasized; CCC preferred by ASHA and provisional licenses accepted for fellows.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology or Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12
- American Speech Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- A Florida Department of Health Provisional License will be accepted for clinical fellows
