Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist conducts screenings and evaluations of students' speech, language, hearing, and related communication disorders; develops educationally relevant treatment plans aligned with IEP processes; provides direct instruction and services using diverse service-delivery models; monitors progress, adjusts plans to meet goals, and maintains documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal policies; may supervise clinical fellows and graduate students; collaborates with teachers and school staff, and supports problem-solving teams regarding communication development and educational achievement; travels to various school sites as required; requires licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology in Florida (CCC preferred) and eligibility to work in the education system.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology
- Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12
- American Speech Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Florida Department of Health Provisional License will be accepted for clinical fellows
