Sleep Technologist Supervisor

Job Summary
Direct the workflow and functions of designated service personnel to facilitate safe and efficient sleep center practices. Supervise plans, develop services, and coordinate activities while working under clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Provide all modalities of polysomnographic procedures for hospitalized and ambulatory patients across all age groups, including developmentally appropriate psychosocial care and patient/family education. Maintain accountability for modality performance, quality assurance reporting, and equipment operation per AASM and departmental guidelines. Assist in staff selection, training, orientation, and competency validation, while preparing work schedules and managing payroll approval processes. Support performance improvement, billing, budget, and equipment design initiatives. Requires Virginia state licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist, 2-3 years sleep study experience, and rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Virginia state licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist
- 2-3 years sleep study experience
- Professional knowledge of Polysomnographic procedures, principles, equipment operations and maintenance
- Ability to function independently
- CPR Training
- Ability to travel
- Rotating Shifts
