Job Summary
Polysomnographic Technologist role at MedSleep involving direct patient care during overnight sleep studies. Responsibilities include setting up patients for overnight diagnostic/therapeutic polysomnography, describing procedures, monitoring studies throughout the night, and resolving equipment issues. 240 hours of hands-on plus theoretical training provided. Overnight shifts are 10 hours per shift, 3-4 nights per week with weekends; up to 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- High School required
- BSc (Sciences) or BA in Psychology, Biology, Neuroscience, or Allied Health preferred
- Must be able to work overnight shifts (10 hours), 3-4 nights per week and weekends
- Trained Sleep Technologist is an advantage
- Must be flexible to work up to 40 hours/week
- Vulnerable Sector Check required before end of one month of working
- Direct patient care experience and troubleshooting skills desirable
