Job Summary
Facilitate polysomnographic tests, collect accurate data, and prepare equipment including applying electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols. Record patient activities, monitor study quality, document clinical events, and score clinical events for physician review while adhering to safety regulations and laboratory protocols. Provide sleep services and facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care in a full-time overnight shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Required Qualifications
- RPSGT certification
- NY licensure
- High school diploma or higher
- completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
- Prior experience as an RPSGT in a sleep lab setting
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear
- use hands to operate equipment
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Lift and/or move 25 pounds frequently
- Lift and/or move 50 pounds occasionally
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers
- meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation)
