Job Summary
Facilitate polysomnographic tests, collect accurate data, and prepare equipment by applying electrodes and sensors per established protocols. Monitor study quality, record patient activities, document clinical events, and score data for physician review while adhering to safety regulations and laboratory protocols. Perform duties during overnight shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM in a full-time capacity at our sleep lab in St. Petersburg, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep management experience
- FL licensure
- High school diploma or higher
- completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers

- Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM
