Job Summary
Facilitate polysomnographic tests, collect accurate data, and prepare equipment by applying electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols. Monitor patient activities, record clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and score data for physician review. Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols while maintaining close, distance, and peripheral vision. This full-time overnight shift (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) in Rhinebeck, NY requires an RPSGT with NY licensure and BCLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- RPSGT certification
- NY licensure
- High school diploma or higher
- completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
- Prior experience as an RPSGT in a sleep lab setting
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers
