Job Summary
Sleep Technician to perform and monitor clinical sleep studies, attach sensors/electrodes, evaluate overnight PSGs, MWTs and MSLTs, monitor vital signs and patient safety, operate PSG/EEG/ECG/plethysmography equipment, respond to critical events, maintain study documentation, and support compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards; requires proficiency with PSG software, EEG/ECG/plethysmography techniques, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- unregistered or registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT or RST preferred)
- experience with Alice system or other PSG software
- skills in performing PSGs, EEGs, ECGs, plethysmography, and troubleshooting equipment
- medically trained to assess and respond to critical patient events
- ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to research protocols and regulatory standards
