Job Summary
Experienced Sleep Surgeon sought at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to develop a comprehensive sleep surgery practice, educate residents and medical students, and participate in research and FDA clinical trials. The role involves collaboration within the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, opportunities to practice comprehensive otolaryngology, and potential involvement in an ACGME sleep medicine/sleep surgery fellowship program within 1–2 years. The faculty member will operate across Rush University Medical Center’s main campus and affiliated sites in Oak Park and Oak Brook, with a strong emphasis on academic duties, teaching, and research in a nationally recognized program.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Sleep medicine and/or sleep surgery fellowship training preferred
- Experience as sleep surgeon
- Ability to educate residents and medical students
- Involvement in research and clinical trials
- Participation in FDA clinical trials
- Academic appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level
- Willingness to develop comprehensive sleep surgery practice
- Ability to teach and supervise learners
- Engagement in scholarly activities and patient care across main campus and affiliated sites
