Job Summary
Conduct overnight sleep study scoring by assessing physiologic calibrations, assigning wake and sleep stages, marking respiratory and limb events, and identifying abnormal ECG rhythms per AASM criteria. Prepare and proofread draft reports for physicians, including diagnoses and treatment recommendations, while assigning studies requiring clarification and transferring reviewed reports via the digital Coreplus server. Troubleshoot PSG equipment, respond to urgent result requests, and maintain workplace cleanliness. Participate in inter-laboratory concordance programs and attend staff meetings. Comply with patient privacy principles and Air Liquide's Code of Conduct.
Required Qualifications
- RPSGT certification or similar
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Science
- At least 12 months of experience working as an overnight sleep-study assistant
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Good time-management skills and ability to work autonomously when required
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to solve practical problems and to respond to enquiries
- Computer literacy and ability to use Remlogic, Philips Sleepware G3, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and all appropriate softwares
Desired Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Science are considered advantageous but not essential
- At least 12 months of experience working as an overnight sleep-study assistant is preferred but not essential
