Sleep Medicine - Advance Practice Clinician - Einstein Hospital

Advance Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in Sleep Medicine at Einstein Hospital. The NP/PA provides clinical support to the Medical Director of Sleep Medicine, opening clinical access for new and established sleep patients, and delivering outpatient sleep medicine clinic services. Core responsibilities include performing patient assessments, establishing treatment plans, patient/family education, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ordering diagnostic testing and DME, assisting with protocol development and ongoing performance improvement projects. The APP may perform advanced procedures consistent with privileges, documents progress in the medical record, and communicates with patients, families and staff to ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Sessions may occur at multiple practice sites; role emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional development, with opportunities for teaching and participation in Grand Rounds and research activities. Qualifications include a Master’s degree and board certification as an Acute Care NP or PA, with BLS certification. Work shift is Day, in the United States; primary location is Jefferson Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, with additional site in Northeast Philadelphia, PA.
