Job Summary
Conduct daily activities, health and personal management, and household living support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and dual diagnoses. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that meets physical, emotional, and personal needs while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors. Work overnight shifts at Ulster Apts IRA in Lake Katrine, NY, sleeping approximately seven hours per night while remaining responsive to resident needs during awake hours. Requires a valid NY driver's license, one year of experience preferred, and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid NY Driver's License
- Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor
- Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs
