Job Summary
Sleep Center specialist handling inbound calls for PAP therapy, scheduling appointments with respiratory therapists, verifying insurance, and guiding patients through the ordering process. Responsibilities include entering orders in the enterprise system, researching patient inquiries, communicating order and delivery status to patients and referrals, scheduling RT appointments, qualifying insurance and patient financial responsibility, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Requires strong communication, empathy, ability to manage multiple tasks, and collaboration with call center teammates and healthcare professionals. Education: high school graduate; minimum 1 year of customer service experience. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office days Tue–Thu at the Cleveland, OH location and remote work on other days.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school
- Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain complex information clearly
- Team-oriented and able to work with healthcare professionals
- Experience with enterprise systems for order entry and scheduling
