Job Summary
Sleep Contact Center Specialist handles inbound patient inquiries related to PAP therapy, schedules appointments with Respiratory Therapists, and ensures excellent customer service. Responsibilities include using the Enterprise System to enter orders and research patient information, communicating with patients and referrals about order status and documentation, verifying insurance and DME history, scheduling appointments with RTs for PAP setup and mask refits, documenting interactions, and meeting performance metrics. Must have strong verbal and written communication, empathy, problem-solving, privacy/compliance awareness (HIPAA), and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid in-office and remote environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school
- Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Pleasant personality with excellent phone and interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Self motivated/Team player
- Works well independently and in a fast paced environment
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and data protection regulations
