Job Summary
SLED/Public Healthcare Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition and account growth across a defined SLED/Public Sector territory. Focus on prospecting, building pipeline, and closing opportunities while supporting expansion of existing accounts. Engage with state, local, and education entities, navigate public sector procurement cycles (RFP/RFI), and collaborate with channel partners to expand market reach. Develop value-based proposals linking Cohesity’s platform to customer security, resilience, compliance, and operational needs; maintain accurate opportunity forecasting; and share insights with product teams. Requires experience selling into Information Security / Cybersecurity teams and familiarity with government procurement processes and security/compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, CJIS). A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, along with strong communication skills and willingness to travel. Knowledge of Cohesity solutions or related data protection technologies is a plus.
