Job Summary
SLED Cybersecurity Sales Specialist driving security solutions across State, Local Government and Education verticals. Lead pursuit of cybersecurity opportunities, build and manage a robust security sales pipeline, qualify and close complex security deals, provide security expertise to Account Managers, establish consultative relationships up to C-level executives, and collaborate with external partners. Requires deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, enterprise selling, MEDDPICC, and Salesforce, with experience selling to government and education sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8–12 years of advanced sales experience
- 3–5 years of cybersecurity-specific sales experience
- 5+ years selling into Government and Education preferred
- Expert in cybersecurity solutions and competitive positioning
- Strong consultative and enterprise selling skills
- MEDDPICC experience
- Salesforce expertise
- High-value software and services sales experience
