Job Summary
Solution Engineer to join Salesforce Slack team; partner with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deals, uncover customer pain points, design Slack-based solutions, deliver high-impact presentations and live demonstrations, ensure Slack security and compliance discussions, guide customers through evaluation, and mentor other SEs while collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Sales to influence the product roadmap. Requires a proven track record in SaaS/tech sales engineering, strong communication, and ability to address technical objections; 4–10 years experience; B.S. degree in CS/SE/MIS or related field; Office Flex role with 3 days onsite per week.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field required
- Typically 4–10 years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS or tech-first organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A consultative approach to solving customers' business challenges
- Track record of overcoming technical and security objections
- Knowledge of Slack and Salesforce ecosystems, including Workflows and Integrations
- Professional proficiency in English
