Job Summary
Ensure safe and effective deployment of SkyCam systems through sound processes and operations, acting as on-site safety personnel for crew installation and rigging. Interface with EIC, Technical Operations, and venue staff to confirm safety protocols, then execute setup plans for aerial cameras, boom lifts, and generators. Handle safety meetings with local labor, climb towers and rooftops, and create safe ground operations for all equipment. Document deployment pictures and deliver technical documentation to the Director of Operations. Manage equipment maintenance, repair, and cable path interfaces while providing clear communication to leadership. Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with extensive domestic and international travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of one (2) years of progressively responsible experience in stage rigging, rope access, entertainment/ aerial rigging, preferably in media, broadcasting, technical, engineering, or production industry
- Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Must have the ability to work through complex situations in a professional manner
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a strong work ethic
- Skilled in the use of Boom/aerial lifts, climbing safety and protocols
- Electrically and mechanically inclined, proficient with hand tools and electrical test equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Possesses good analytical and creative skills
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
- Extensive domestic and international travel
- Must possess or able to obtain US Passport
- Valid Driver's License
