Job Summary
Manage flight equipment and crew at live events while operating the SkyCam system within established safe protocols. Interface directly with clients, EIC, and Technical Operations managers to ensure proper installation and communicate all technical needs or irregular operations. Set up and confirm NOC communication, then provide final reports and complete tech documentation for each deployment. Handle equipment setup, maintenance, and repair under the direction of the NOC and Technical Operations Manager. This role requires extensive domestic and international travel and the ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a US passport.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in aircraft operation and control, drone operation and control, and/or a strong background preferably in media, broadcasting, technical, IT, engineering, or production industry
- Proficient in the use of MS Windows
- an understanding of basic electronics and networking
- Valid Driver's License
- US Passport
- ability to manage through complex situations in a professional manner
