SKILLS TRAINER - SUB ACUTE

Skills Trainer will provide support, skill training, and one-on-one supervision to clients admitted to the Subacute Crisis residential facility. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, facilitating coping and life skills, group activities, and daily living tasks; preparing materials for day treatment; maintaining facility cleanliness; providing medication monitoring; conducting basic risk assessments; coordinating daily facility operations; transporting clients to services as needed; administering drug and alcohol screens as authorized; participating in the care team; utilizing assessments such as the DLA-20, PHQ-9, GAD-7, MIS, LOCUS, SOWS, or CIWA; maintaining case records and adhering to agency policies; and complying with supervision, meetings, and required trainings. Competencies include crisis management, teamwork, proficiency with Microsoft Office, meeting deadlines, organization, and strong communication aligned with servant leadership and VOA values.
