Skills Trainer - Project Search - Appleton

Job Summary
Support the intake, goal planning, and oversight of participants in the Project SEARCH program; identify job goals, develop and implement internship opportunities, and build marketable skills for employment. Collaborate with educational partners, host business leadership, and support staff to tailor service delivery to participant needs, ensure internships follow the Project SEARCH model, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Provide coaching to assess progress toward independence, identify workplace accommodations, and develop job aides. Requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to travel to multiple locations; must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ year experience with individuals with barriers in a workplace setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge/experience with Case Management Systems (CMS) (preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel to other locations
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends
