Job Summary

Skills Trainer (Dual-Diagnosis) provides individualized support to youth with mental health and developmental needs across home and community settings, delivering ISSP-based interventions, collaborating with group home staff and guardians, ensuring safety and transportation, and contributing to MDT discussions. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered services, documentation of progress within one business day, crisis response, and adherence to productivity standards. Must be credentialable as QMHA per OAR, possess relevant degree or experience, and meet driving and background requirements. Flexible evenings and weekends required; duties include team meetings, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and delivering services aligned with IS/ISSP objectives to empower youth toward self-determined lives.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligible to become credentialed as a QMHA under Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) through either a bachelor’s degree in human services, social science, or closely related field, or relevant three-years of work experience
  • One to three years of experience working with youth in a clinical, educational, or social services setting; experience with mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical restraints as needed
  • Ability to meet all background check, credentialing, and agency driving requirements
