Job Summary
Skills Performance Senior Advisor in bp's People, Culture & Communications (PC&C). Build and implement prioritized skill-building plans for Procurement and Finance, including needs analysis and impact evaluation. Develop skill-impact plans to close gaps, propose design solutions, and complete business value and skills performance briefing documents to enable prioritization. Build relationships to ensure solutions meet needs, promote grow@bp and learning communities, and drive adoption. Collect and analyze data on simplicity, usefulness, skill proficiency, application, confidence and behavior change; measure needle shifts and outcomes, and use insights to refine solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, leveraging learning analytics tools (Degreed, grow@bp, Xyleme, Cornerstone, PowerBI) and stay current on trends in skills, learning, technology, and AI. Demonstrates leadership in facilitating behavioral change, learning delivery, content design, and stakeholder engagement; English proficiency required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in complex organizations with skills management, performance management or workforce planning in large matrix organization
- Experience advising, coaching, and influencing senior stakeholders
- Ability to work well in cross functional and global teams to deliver learning solutions
- Experience conducting skills gap analyses, developing tailored capability-building roadmaps and designing, implementing learning solutions with measurable skill improvement
- Ability to implement strategies that drive behavioural change, leading to performance improvements
- Proficiency in HR and learning analytics tools to track workforce capability trends (e.g., Degreed/grow@bp, Xyleme, Cornerstone, PowerBI)
- Understanding of current trends in skills and learning, technology, and AI in learning solutions
- English proficiency
