Job Summary
Lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12, teaching core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork. Follow the Skills Institute curriculum to help players develop technical abilities, confidence, and a lasting love for the game while promoting teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Create a positive, encouraging environment and build strong relationships with players and families. Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil' Kickers professionally during special events and local marketing initiatives. Weekend availability is required with consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Successful completion of a background check
- Weekend availability
- Commitment to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Desired Qualifications
- Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience
