Job Summary
Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12 using the Skills Institute curriculum, teaching core skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. Create a positive, encouraging environment that promotes perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship while building strong relationships with players and families. Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil' Kickers professionally throughout the 13-week season, which includes weekend availability and potential weekday shifts. Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Successful completion of a background check
- Weekend availability
- Commitment to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Desired Qualifications
- Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience
