Job Summary
Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12, teaching core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork. Follow the Skills Institute curriculum to help players develop technical abilities, confidence, and a lasting love for the game while promoting teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Create a positive, encouraging environment and build strong relationships with players and families. Represent Sofive and the Skills Institute professionally throughout the 13-week season, with weekend availability required and potential weekday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Successful completion of a background check
- Weekend availability
- Commitment to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Desired Qualifications
- Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience
