Job Summary
Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12 using the Skills Institute curriculum, focusing on dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork. Create a positive environment that promotes teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship while building strong relationships with players and families. Represent Sofive and Lil' Kickers professionally during weekly classes and support special events or local marketing initiatives when needed. Weekend availability is required, with additional shifts potentially available on weekday afternoons and evenings throughout the 13-week season.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Successful completion of a background check
- Weekend availability
- Commitment to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Desired Qualifications
- Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience
