Job Summary
Greet participants, explain program rules and policies, and lead groups of children ages 5 to 12 through soccer activities and development games. Manage and organize daily lesson plans based on the provided weekly curriculum while adhering to strict safety rules. Set up, clean up, and maintain the field, and attend pre-shift training and planning meetings before classes. Provide recommendation cards to students at the end of each session and continue coaches training throughout the seasons. This part-time role supports our recreational services for children through clinics, leagues, camps, and events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate clearly with supervisors and with customers
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Be able to work on your feet for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have some prior soccer knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a coach not required
