Job Summary
Skills Coach role supporting apprentices on the Level 4 Project Management apprenticeship standard. Deliver one-to-one coaching sessions, workshops, and learning activities; help learners develop project management knowledge, skills, and behaviours; monitor progress and implement interventions; conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers; prepare learners for End Point Assessment and support successful outcomes; maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with apprenticeship requirements; collaborate with colleagues to improve learner experience, quality, and outcomes; contribute to standardisation activities and curriculum improvements. Strong coaching, relationship-building, communication, organisational, and time-management skills are essential, with minimum GCSE English and Maths (Level 4) and a Level 4+ qualification in Project Management or related discipline. Remote-working arrangement in the UK with occasional travel for team meetings and events. The role emphasizes safeguarding, inclusion, and opportunities for professional development within a remote-first environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching, mentoring, training, or supporting adult learners
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of project management principles and methodologies
- Ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of learners and maintain accurate records
- Passion for learning, development, and helping others achieve their potential
- Minimum GCSE Grade C/Level 4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Qualification at Level 4 or above in Project Management or a related discipline
- Teaching, coaching, assessment, or training qualifications
- Membership of a relevant professional body such as the Association for Project Management
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding requirements, and End Point Assessment processes
