Job Summary
Seeking a Skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician for full-time role responsible for maintenance and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Refrigeration units. Requires High School Diploma, technical certification, and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience working with transport refrigeration units
- Thermo King refrigeration repair
- Diesel engine repair
- Low voltage electrical systems
- High voltage electrical systems
- Microprocessors
- Must supply own tools
- Must be able to work overtime and on-call as needed
- Ability to achieve and maintain proper certifications and training
- Ability to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle or free objects
- Use computers for web-based training and work order system
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Must possess a current and valid driver license
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification
- EPA Certification with refrigerant
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a DOT approved physical
- Driving record must meet the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier
