Job Summary
Perform physical labor tasks for construction projects including ground-up builds, remodels, retrofits, and repairs to interior and exterior structures. Operate hand and power tools for plumbing, electrical, concrete, flooring, roofing, painting, framing, drywall, and finishing skills for doors, windows, and cabinetry. Install fixtures such as windows, roofing, trim, tile, ceiling tile, and hardware while organizing building materials and loading/unloading trucks. Travel to different worksites to complete required tasks, adhering to all aspects of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Program. Maintain a clean job site to eliminate hazards and read instructions, specifications, and plans to determine work activities. Projects may require a response to 24/7 emergency coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess (or obtain) an appropriate state driver license before employment
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge and general trade experience in the major trades: plumbing, electrical, concrete, flooring, roofing, painting, framing, drywall, and finishing skills for doors, windows, and cabinetry
- Possesses tools required to perform job functions
- Organized and dependable team player with solid communication skills
- Professional and results-driven
- Friendly and positive attitude towards change
- Able to identify and resolve issues by removing barriers and know-how to make things happen
- Common sense and applied logic
- Must be available for 24/7 emergency coverage
- Must be able to travel to different worksites
