Job Summary
Execute skilled activities supporting manufacturing needs by selecting appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment with limited guidance. Perform repairs and maintain equipment while documenting preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities. Comply with HSE standards, report injuries and hazards immediately, and use personal protective equipment. Apply high standards of workmanship to perform quality inspections and provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Participate in continuous improvement activities and Total Productive Maintenance teams to solve problems and improve processes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to select and use appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment
- Knowledge of protocols for working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment
- Ability to stop work and report major injury hazards
- Ability to report work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard
- Ability to comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations
- Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Ability to recognize and correct hazards within control and capabilities
- Ability to recognize how work may impact the environment and minimize negative impact
- Ability to engage in HSE Training
- Ability to apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
- Ability to support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis
- Ability to perform work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments
- Ability to provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system
- Ability to follow all process documentation and quality procedures
- Ability to raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures
- Ability to perform quality inspections
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills
- Ability to repair and maintain equipment
- Ability to perform and document preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities
- Ability to maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams
- Ability to complete training and personal development in line with business requirements
- Ability to participate actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams
