Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems on production equipment to maintain operational continuity. Troubleshoot and repair specific systems including bearings, ball-screws, wiring for robots and conveyors, PLCs, and heat treat ovens. Replace or rebuild components such as accumulators, air handling units, and filters, while interpreting mechanical and hydraulic drawings. Document all work in the work order system, look up parts via SAP, and communicate environmental, health, safety, or quality issues to management. Requires flexibility to work any shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- some maintenance training/courses
- At least 2-5 years in a Maintenance Technician role
- ability to work any shift
- ability to document work in our current work order system
- ability to look up parts via machine manual and SAP system
- knowledge of how to request replacement parts and/or service through a Purchase Requisition in SAP
- ability to communicate when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality
