Job Summary
Skilled Press Technician needed at Taylor Corporation’s Corporate Graphics Commercial facility in North Mankato, MN to operate, adjust, and maintain Case Making equipment for producing softcover and hardcover books. Responsibilities include following job orders precisely, setting up and operating equipment for high-quality production, monitoring product quality and equipment performance, performing routine maintenance, keeping logs and documentation, and leading/collaborating with the team to maintain production schedules. Shift is 2:30pm–1:00am, Monday–Thursday, with overtime opportunities; the role requires strong mechanical/technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of production related equipment operation, technician, or maintenance experience
- strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- proven leadership and professional communication skills
- ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization
- ability to operate equipment and achieve production and quality standards
