Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and codes. Perform rough-ins for underground, above-ground waste, vent, water, and storm piping, then test systems for leaks and proper operation. Install and set fixtures, trim, and equipment while reading blueprints and interpreting drawings. Measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping components, troubleshooting field issues and coordinating with supervisors and other trades. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently while meeting project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- experience with both rough-in plumbing and fixture installation
- capable of working independently
- ability to maintain Charlotte Mechanical's standards for quality, productivity, and safety
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- ability to measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems and plumbing components
- ability to test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation
- ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in the field
- ability to coordinate work with project supervisors, contractors, and other trades
- ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- ability to follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- ability to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently while meeting project schedules
