Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functionality. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities while administering modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Educate patients on body mechanics and home exercise programs, and monitor progress using clinical standards to track range of motion and strength gains. Prepare treatment areas, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, and provide emotional support to foster a positive rehabilitation atmosphere. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility for patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- Valid state license or certification for practicing as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and best practices
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting specializing in physical therapy services, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation
- Demonstrated skills in the administration of therapeutic modalities and exercises suited for various patient age groups and backgrounds
