Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Skilled Nursing Facility is responsible for resident care including medication administration, data collection, and education reinforcement. This role requires collaboration with nursing teams and physicians, effective time management and problem-solving skills, and adherence to state and federal regulations. Qualifications include a valid LPN license, relevant nursing experience preferred, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed practical nurse license required
- One year relevant nursing experience in long term care preferred
- CPR Certified required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of HSS 132 and all Federal tags preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare A requirements preferred
- Ability to work in a partnership environment that fosters effective teamwork in meeting mission of Oakwood
- Independent initiation based on sound judgment
