Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help residents safely navigate the community, escorting them to meals, activities, and appointments. Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, beds, and personal belongings while taking vital signs and performing S&As when requested. Support dining activities and foster meaningful one-on-one connections by encouraging participation in community events. Maintain accurate daily flow sheets and care notes, attend scheduled in-services, and continue developing gerontology knowledge. Required Qualifications
- Current or soon-to-be active California CNA certification
- Knowledge of standard nursing practices
- Use of relevant patient care equipment and materials
- Ability to pass a physical exam upon hire and annually thereafter
