Job Summary

Provide direct patient care under RN supervision by taking vital signs, dispensing medications, and assisting residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, and transferring. Coordinate with nursing team members to accurately record vital signs, ADLs, bowel and bladder status, and diet intake in proper software. Promptly answer call lights, conduct rounds to assess resident needs, and report any changes or unusual findings to the nurse. Administer standard precautions and infection control standards while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Work an overnight 10PM to 6AM rotating schedule with four days on and two days off.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified nursing aide licensure
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Food Handler certification
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year working with the geriatric population
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds of force frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds of force constantly
  • Close visual acuity
  • Ability to perform responsibilities well under pressure
