Skilled Maintenance Operator - Full time - Days

Job Summary

Conduct all aspects of equipment operation, inspection, and maintenance under direct supervision, including daily documentation in maintenance logs. Perform work involving electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems while driving between multiple campuses as needed. Maintain readiness for on-call rotation. Requires a valid Texas Driver's license, relevant trade certifications, and at least three years of hospital facilities maintenance experience. Based at OakBend Medical Center, an independent hospital serving the community since 1950.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years previous hospital facilities maintenance experience
  • Stationary engineer, boiler certification, HVAC, or other applicable trade certification or license
  • Universal EPA license
  • Valid Texas Driver's license
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Must be available for on-call status
  • Must be able to drive between multiple campuses as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of technical courses
  • Experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education
  • Experience with Stationary engineer, boiler certification, HVAC, or other applicable trade certification or license
  • Experience with Universal EPA license
