Job Summary
In-home pediatric nursing role providing one-on-one RN/LVN care for children with life-long health conditions in patients' homes in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Responsibilities include admission, transfer, re-certification, and discharge paperwork; maintaining patient records; evaluating nursing services; consulting with physicians; mentoring new employees during orientation; educating patients and caregivers; supervising LPNs and Aides; participating in QAPI; mandatory trainings; and travel to patients' homes.role requires work with shifts including FT/PT/PRN; requires RN/LVN licensure, CPR, and background checks; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel; and adherence to state and federal regulations. Required Qualifications
- RN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- CPR Card with in-person hands-on skills check
- Hep B Screening where applicable
- TB Screening where applicable
