Skilled Labourer/Carpenter

Job Summary
Regina-area Skilled Labourer/Carpenter needed to execute carpentry work on commercial and residential construction projects, ensure quality management and building-code compliance, oversee subtrades, perform frame and finish carpentry, mentor junior workers, operate power tools (air nailer, skill saw, screw gun), conduct inspections, and report issues to the site superintendent. Responsibilities include adherence to safety requirements, site maintenance and clean-up, mentoring, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in residential framing
- Enrollment in Carpentry apprenticeship program as a 3rd or 4th year or completion of Journeyman Carpentry
- Experience in finish carpentry is an asset
- Equipment operation experience is an asset (zoom boom / skid steer)
- Knowledge of building code and safety code requirements
- Be organized, interpersonal and strong communicator with the ability to build excellent relationships with subtrades and workers on site
- Candidate must have excellent time management skills, have the ability to prioritize work and be results driven
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong understanding of quality standards
- Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
