Job Summary
Skilled Handyman performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across tenant properties, including plumbing leaks, electrical issues, drywall damage, and broken fixtures. Duties include routine upkeep such as painting, caulking, weatherproofing, HVAC filter replacement, and installations of appliances, shelving, lighting fixtures, doors, windows, and flooring. Carpentry tasks cover building or repairing furniture, decks, fences, and framing. Address clogged drains, replace faucets, and repair or install pipes; troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues within licensing limits. Inspect properties for maintenance needs and propose solutions. Provide cost estimates and ensure customer satisfaction with strong communication and safety adherence. May require irregular hours and work on-site at tenant homes, offices, or commercial properties.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in general maintenance, construction, or related trades
- Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Certifications: Trade licenses (e.g., plumbing, electrical) preferred but not always required
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and own tools
