Job Summary
Maintenance Technician B provides repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies and control/hydraulic/electrical systems, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering. Additional duties include line welding/fabrication, basic tire work, and safe road service to return equipment to operation. Uses electronic tools to diagnose malfunctions, completes required company training, and may work on-site and on the road. Requires prior technician experience (3-5 years) and a valid driver’s license; ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
