Job Summary
Skilled Construction Labourer responsibilities include cleaning and preparing job sites, setting up scaffolding, building and placing concrete forms, pouring concrete, tying reinforcing steel, basic framing (walls, doors, windows), insulation, measuring and cutting materials, operating hand and power tools, transporting materials to work areas, and assisting craft workers. Must apply safe work practices, demonstrate good attitude and teamwork, and be physically capable of lifting items weighing over 50 pounds in outdoor conditions (heat, dust, cold, rain, noise) while working at heights. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial and/or industrial construction industry preferred
- An understanding of safe work practices
- The strength, stamina, and ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift and carry items weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
