Job Summary
Skilled Construction Labourer responsible for preparing and cleaning job sites, setting up scaffolding, building/assembling concrete forms and placing concrete using rakes, screeds, and trowels, tying reinforcing steel, basic framing (walls, doors, windows), insulation, measuring and cutting material, operating hand and power tools, transporting materials to work areas, and assisting craft workers; outdoor, physically strenuous work in variable conditions with a focus on safety and teamwork. Penn-co Construction is seeking candidates for projects in Arborg, MB, with opportunities for development and growth within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial and/or industrial construction industry preferred
- Excellent attitude, communication and teamwork skills, flexible, and open to change
- Ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
- An understanding of safe work practices
- A basic understanding of drawings
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
