Job Summary
Design test plans, procedures, and fixtures for spaceflight hardware while conducting functional, development, and certification testing. Operate hardware at KBR labs and Johnson Space Center Test Facilities, collect data, and write test reports. Coordinate with project management and customers to execute development and certification events, ensuring compliance with safety records and engineering drawings. Process hardware at KBR labs and JSC facilities, interpreting requirements to support Moon Base and Artemis missions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with five years of related experience and is 100% on-site in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Microsoft Office Products
- 100% on site
- 100% in person
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with JSC projects and test facilities
- 2 years of experience in flight hardware development
- Experience with testing in a Lab
- Experience with pressure systems
- Experience with Solid Works
- Awareness of the Flight Hardware Development processing as outlined in SA-WI-014 and EA-023
