Job Summary
Conduct beverage distribution operations by learning receiving, delivery, and warehouse processes. Shadow sales representatives across on-premise and off-premise teams to develop territory management and route planning skills. Assist merchandisers with stocking, rotation, displays, and point-of-sale placement while interpreting sales reports and performance metrics. Lift and carry cases ranging from 20 to 50 lbs, utilizing hand trucks to load products into vehicles and maintain shelf standards. This structured externship prepares transitioning service members for a career in professional sales within Gulf Distributing Holdings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current transitioning Active Duty service member eligible for the SkillBridge Program
- Strong interest in delivery operations, logistics, or commercial driving
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, carrying, loading/unloading products)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn hands-on skills
